"Joy" Kinetic Typography

Kinetic typography for the "Joy" spoken word video for Midtown Church's Christmas service. The goal of this piece was to create typography that felt like it was in the poet’s real environment. A bold typeface emphasizes key words and phrases throughout the video that tell the story of the birth of Jesus.
